LIFESTYLE LITTLE LOVES

LITTLE LOVES 2019 | DECEMBER EDITION

December 28, 2019

Hello and welcome back to a new little loves round-up! The last round up of 2019! How is that even possible?!

December has been amazing, full of lots of christmassy things. Like every month, it seems to have flown by. Months just merge together now which I really wish, time would slow down. I have also reflected a lot this month of things that have passed and things to look forward too. I have so many plans swirling around my brain for 2020, I just hope I can stick to it.

Without too much waffling, here is my Little Loves for the month of December

Watched

The Crown (Netflix) – I was so excited that season 3 finally dropped on Netflix. Ive made a conscious effort not to binge watch them though. We are nearing the end of the season and I won’t lie, I am a little disappointed with it. I love the new actors, but there is just something that has been a little bit of a let down and I can’t pin point what. Maybe it was the build up and all the hype?

Gavin & Stacey (BBC) – Well, we have waited a whole 10 years for this! I was so worried it would be a huge disappointment, but it wasn’t. I really enjoyed it, not so much the cliff hanger of an ending but it means that there is possibility for more. I hope there is more, but we will just have to wait and see. What did you think?

Jumanji: The Next Level – We went to the cinema to watch the second Jumanji film. We found ourselves laughing throughout. I love the way they change characters and those in the game play out the younger ones. They do it really well and its a really good cast. Would definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it already.

You (Netflix) – The first season was brilliant. The second season arrived this week and I am sort of binge watching a few episodes at a time. I am really enjoying it. Each episodes leaves you wanting more, with is quality binge worthy TV.

Wore

Christmas Jumpers – I spent most of December in my Christmas jumper. Its the only time you can get away with it, so why not! I bought mine from Asda this year and felt very festive in it. Not too keen on putting it away if I am honest!

Black Tie – I had my staff party at the very end of November, so it sort of counts. The attire was Black Tie or Dinner Suit. It was a London cruise along the Thames in I went all out and wore the most gorgeous dress. I borrowed it from a friend. It was a long navy dress, with lace detail. The back was entirely lace to the waist and I felt very glam. Was a really lovely evening and it was nice to spend a whole evening with James!

Heard

Stormzy – I am not a fan of Stormzy, but there is a track on his new album thats being played a hell of a lot and I find myself singing it all the time. I have added it to my playlist and have been playing it quite a bit, give it a week and I will be over it and go back to rolling my eyes every time someone mentions him.

Cries of Happiness – Bit cheesy, but I have heard lots of happy cries this past week. I think Santa did well this year and both Gracie and Henry were pretty happy with what was left. I always feel so over whelmed this time of year, can’t imagine how an 8 and 11 year old feel!

The Doorbell – The doorbell has not stopped ringing this month. We did quite a bit of our shopping online this year, so we tried to get the deliveries for when we were off work. It was a busy month for delivery drivers, but so very convenient.

Made

Christmas Feels – We made the house look very christmassy. I love this time of year, when you step in from being outside and it feels all cosy with lights and candles. I am not looking forward to taking them all down. I am trying to hang it out as long as possible if I am honest!

Plans – I have been thinking this past month of all the plans I want to do blog wise next year. I have been looking at what I should post and how I can grow the blog and namely my instagram Every year I say I want to push it further and I never do. I am going to try this year though. I have a lot to juggle but I will attempt it!

Lastly

I just want to say a huge thank you for to those that link up month in, month out. I took over from a very lovely blogger this year as host of little loves and although I sometimes struggle getting it up on time, I just want to say Thank You. It wouldn’t work if you didn’t link up and I adore reading everyone’s little loves.

If I didn’t comment last month on anyones post, I apologise, it was a hectic month and I have not opened up the blog for the whole of December.

One last thing, I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!

I am looking forward to seeing you all link up! Have a wonderful month ahead.

December is all about the Christmas jumpers! I’m going to be so sad when we go back to ordinary clothes.
