little loves 2019 | november

Hello and welcome back to a new little loves round-up!

November has whizzed by. I cannot believe we are so close to December! I mean we are nearing the end of the year and its just gone far too quickly for my liking.

Without too much waffling, here is my Little Loves for the month of November

Read

I picked up a book!! I’ve only read a few chapters, but still I picked up a book. It is the new Adam Kay ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas. So far so good and although it’s the shortest book in the world I only manage a few pages a night!

Watched

I’m a Celeb – it’s back and I’m hooked. Wasn’t to keen on the line up this year but it’s proving to be a good series. It could potentially all bubble up and arguments may have started since typing this up as I think something could be brewing between a few camp mates. Only time will tell. Are you watching it? Whose your favourite celeb this year?

The Crown – I’ve been waiting for this since I don’t know when! It feels like it should of been on TV ages ago since the announcement of the new roles. I’m 2 episodes in and really enjoying it so far. They have done a great job with the casting, I was worried I would get confused by it all. It I think it really works.

Little Mix – it seems like ages ago I booked Little Mix for Gracie! We went to one of their London shows and I was literally blown away. The show they put on was amazing and gave such a good message to young girls. I’m so glad I booked them and we got to go. Was a nice birthday treat for my not so little girl.

Fireworks – We didn’t really do anything for firework night. Gracie’s Birthday falls on the 6th, so we had a few on her birthday. We did go and visit a free firework display at the beach, towards the end of the month. Was pretty spectacular and its a good excuse to go there to get some doughnuts!

Wore

Jumpers – I’ve been wrapping up warm and have dug out all the thick cosy jumpers. Definitely feel the change in temperature over the last few weeks. I’ve had to de-I’ve the car a fair few times this month!

Heels – I went out out.. it was my nieces 16th birthday so we all went out for a family meal to celebrates good excuse to get dressed up and step into some heels. It was a lovely evening, drank, laughed and ate some really lovely food. Cobbled streets and alcohol, don’t really mix!

Wooly Hats – Oh the cold has definitely set in. Ive had to wear the wooly hat several times on the school run. We all wore them when we went to watch the free fireworks I mentioned early. Its was so cold!

Heard

Little Mix – We have been playing Little Mix for the past month. Gracie absolutely loves them and off the back of seeing them live we’ve been listening to most of their albums in the car. Im a little bit of a fan too.

Tones & I – I am obsessed, totally obsessed.

Made

Cake – Gracies birthday was at the beginning of the month. I tend to make a cake rather than buy one. It’s something both children expect now and I think they prefer homemade (who doesn’t!) was easy to make and she was pleased with the outcome!

Christmas Shopping – I made a start on the chritsams shopping this month. I like to get Gracies birthday out the way before I even think about the C word. Now we are heading into December I am fully hitting the websites and making the most from buying online. So much more convenient!

Lastly

I’ve not been too well the back end of the month.  Nothing some antibiotics cannot help with but I’ve felt awful. I’ve soldered on though and got through the worst of it which is a relief as it wasn’t  nice, which leads me to this..

I have my staff Christmas party tomorrow so I’m pleased I’m feeling better for that. I’ll be cruising up the thames, which should be fun. We have a meal and drinks on a rather lively boat. Another excuse to get dressed up!

I am looking forward to seeing you all link up! Have a wonderful month ahead.
