Hello and welcome back to a new little loves round-up!

What a month! I Started November happy-ish and content. We saw Gracie turn 12 and had a small firework show to celebrate her birthday! Then somewhere in the middle it all went wrong and I everything just got on top of me. I ended up hading in my notice at work. It was one of the main things that was getting me down. Obviously not ideal in the current climate but I felt a sense of relief when I finally said those words. I. Quit.

With the deed done, November was panning out to be a bit of a shit show, but we end with happy news. Something pretty amazing happened this week, in the midst of despair and wondering if I would find anywhere to go to, I was offered a job! I am very excited, I finish my current position on the 11th and start a new role within a new company on the 14th! I know a lot of people are struggling with work and covid has dealt some pretty crap hands to people who have been made redundant and are struggling, but I feel so lucky to be in a position like this.

Without too much waffling, here is my Little Loves for November

I started the month of well, by reading the Family Upstairs, but things happened and it literally fell of my bedside cabinet and I have not bothered to pick it back up! I really must get back into reading. It calms me. Lately I just have not had the inclination to pick up a book.

The Crown (Netflix) – Its back! I am loving season 4 already. We are slowly watching it because I did not want to binge through it. I adore Emma Corrin as Diana, I think she portrays her so well. Uncannily well.

I’m a Celebrity (ITV) – I was a bit dubious about this serious and if it was good enough to live up to the Australian version. I am really enjoying it though. Slightly disappointed by the catch up episodes on Saturday nights, but I can deal with that. I am loving Vernon Kay and Giovanna Fletcher!

Made in Chelsea (C4) – Huge guilty pleasure of mine. Love catching up with the folks from Chelsea!

Christmas Adverts – Oh November bought us a selection of Christmas Adverts. McDonald’s is by far my favourite so far! Whats yours?

Boots – I gave in and actually wore shoes that represent the season. I like my feet to be free, my Palmeira sandals literally stay on my feet till the frost kicks in. It kicked in mid November for a few days so I had to put them to one side and actually wear a shoe that was suitable for the weather! The Palmeiras are back out though, its turned pretty mild again!

Winter Coat – I am in desperate need of a new winter coat. My current coat is snug (read VERY snug). I have had it a few years, so its definitely the to get a new one. I hate wearing them, I can’t drive in coats, I feel claustrophobic so I only ever put it on for the school run. It has come in handy lately though because those school runs have been pretty chilly!

I have listened to quite a bit this month! My top three have been on repeat because I just cannot get enough of them.

John Legend – Wild

Becky Hill – Forever Young (McDonald’s Christmas Advert)

Lucy Spraggan – Sober

Gracie turned 12 this month! TWELVE!! She wanted a cake, but didn’t want anything too extravagant. Her only stipulation was it had to be a plain Victoria Sponge with chocolate icing.. Think I managed to pull off the brief..

This weekend we are putting up our decorations. We always tend to put them up the first weekend in December. Couple of days early won’t hurt! I cannot wait to feel cosy with all the twinkly lights! Have you got yours up yet? When do you normally put your decorations up?

Please note: Little loves December will be live from 1st January!

I haven’t even noticed the Christmas adverts but will keep you posted when I do as to which one is my favourite. A massive congratulations on the job – that’s such awesome news!
