November 28, 2021

The months feel shorter, they seem to fly by so quickly and before I know it I’m sitting typing a new Little Loves post! November started of really busy, but it became a lot more chilled towards the later part of the week.

Gracie turned 13 this month! I’m officially a parent to a teenager! It’s seems she has grown into a young lady over night. It’s shocking just how quickly the last 13 years have gone. Only feels like yesterday I was bringing her home from hospital. In other news also the senior school application was submitted for Henry this month too, it’s definitely going to be a nerve wracking few months ahead.

Without too much waffling here is November Little Loves.

Selling Sunset (Netflix) – It’s back and I feel terrible for watching it over two days. It’s definitely binge worthy TV and I am waiting patiently for season 5 to drop!

I’m a celebrity (ITV) – it’s back and it’s come with a series of problems but it’s still good! I’m pretty gutted that Richard had to leave early and obviously the cancellations this weekend due to the storm. I am looking forward to Monday when it returns! Definitely the start of the Christmas countdown for me!

Greys Anatomy (Sky Witness) – My all time favourite series is back! I love it! It was Little Loves that got me into it! I noticed a few people on Instagram have just started to watch it and it’s making me want to re-watch it.

All Too Well (YouTube) – Taylor swift released a short film to her All Too Well 10 minute version. It’s beautiful and I cannot stop watching it. Definitely one of my favourite songs by her from her earlier albums.

Red – Taylor Swift re-released her version of Red and it’s been on repeat all month long. As I mentioned earlier All Too Well 10 minute version is just brilliant and so well written. I am hoping (fingers crossed) I get the vinyl for Christmas from James. I have made enough hints so here’s hoping.

I actually got dressed up this month. Gracie had a meal out for her birthday so I put on some heels. It was nice and was a sense of normality.

The weather has changed dramatically over the past few weeks and it’s become very very cold. Henry and I walk the dog in the morning before school so wrapping up is a must! I dug out the ear muffs and wellies with thick socks this week as I hate having cold ears a iced toes!

I made the decision to skip making Gracie as cake this year as it was a special 13th birthday I cannot take credit for this cake at all but it was such a beautiful cake. It was gorgeous and Gracie loved it. She asked for the colour way and it came out so well! It lasted weeks too!

After the success of my crocheted pumpkins last month I decided to make some Christmas puddings. They were a huge hit and I ended up making more than I thought! Lots of people message me and I ended up selling them. I was so impressed with how well they turned out!

With news this weekend that there is a new variant in the UK it’s a worrying time. Especially so close to Christmas, I feel like last year is going to repeat itself. Hopefully with the vaccine programme and the boosters we are a step ahead. I just hope everyone stays safe and well.

Hope you have a wonderful December!
