LIFESTYLE LITTLE LOVES

LITTLE LOVES 2021 | OCTOBER EDITION

October 31, 2021

I am late to the game again this month with Little Loves. The month has flown by and it wasn’t until yesterday that I realised the last Friday of the month passed us by! It’s been a full on hectic month. Work was so busy and the end of term was calling for us all.

We have had two full weeks off here, down south. It’s been bliss. Lots of lay ins and chill days. Just what was needed. We have ended the month full of colds and not really looking forward to the start of a new term!

Without too much waffling here is September Little Loves.

Watched

This month has been all about Netflix!

Squid Games (Netflix) – I wasn’t sure about this at first, I think this was all that was spoken about on social media so we decided to give it a go. We watched with subtitles as the dubbing was so bad. It was brilliant and I’ve been telling everyone to watch it. Pretty intense from the get go, but it’s definitely worth a watch.

Maid (Netflix) – I really really enjoyed this. It was so cleverly written and I watched in the space of two days. I was hooked from the first 5 minutes. Decay binge worthy program.

You (Netflix) – season three dropped a few weeks ago and I’m 7 episodes in. It’s a strange one this one, not so intense as the first two. Not sure how it’s going to end, but I already know season 4 is in the works so guessing wide open!

Heard

Willow Smith – I am loving Willow at the moment. Meet me at the Spot is current in repeat constantly. It’s currently doing the rounds on TiKToK with its very own dance. It’s funny how songs just stick.

I also heard the brilliant news that planning permission has been granted for Gracie’s school. She is currently in a temporary building as “phase one” and phase two was agreed this week! It’s very exciting and it’s most definitely needed!

Wore

Technically it’s not been worn yet, but with Halloween today we have been prepping costumes for Henry. He is going as a Zombie Captain America! He is very excited to show it off!

The winter coat has made an appearance this month. Early morning dog walks have been a lot chillier! The afternoons are a-lot milder.  The bonus for the early morning dog walks is watching the winter sun rise. I have witnessed some incredible sunrises throughout October.

I’ve dug out the wellington boots towards the end of October. The ground has been so wet lately and I ended up have soggy wet feet one morning because I decided to doggy walk in my Vans.

Made

I am so pleased I managed to make something else crochet! I decided as Christmas is fast approaching I would make some Christmas Puddings and they could not have come out better! It’s my second try at making Amigurumi and I was so so pleased with how they came out! I have had lots of orders so been busy making them of a weekend!

I made the house all cosy this week. The weather was terrible so I decided to work from the sofa and light all the candles and turn on the twinkly lights. I bought a new mirror this month and it’s taken pride of place above the new fire surround. It was a bargain buy from Facebook again and it’s totally finished off the room. I’m in love with it.

Lastly

In just shy of a week I will be a parent to a teenager! Still cannot quite believe it! This week will be finishing off details for her big day. We are not doing much, having a meal out and then family coming over. She has been counting down for months for this day! Going to be a mixture of emotions for sure!

Hope you have a wonderful November!
