Hello! And welcome back to Little Loves post! How quickly did September go? It’s been a month of routine. We are all back to school and work which already we are four weeks into. Just a few short weeks and Gracie and Henry will have completed our first half a term!

Without too much waffling here is September Little Loves.

It’s been a good month for TV. It’s Autumn so we always get the best shows for those darker evenings.

Great British Bake-off (C4) – I resigned myself that this would not return this year, so when I saw the teaser trailer on Instagram I was over joyed! One episode in an already I feel like it’s going to be a good season.

Married at First Sight UK (C4) – this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but it’s an easy watch and something I get sucked in to every time it’s on. It’s a bit like Marmite, you love it or hate it.

Gossip Girl (BBC) – I have started watching this whilst I work. I tend to work better with something playing in the back ground. It’s an easy watch and one series in I seem to be hooked. It’s very American and a little cheesy and predictable but it’s definitely something I can see myself finishing.

Behind Her Eyes (Netflix) – ok, so I started this and really enjoyed the first 4 episodes, was definitely my kind of program, psychological thriller, then it all went downhill and I was really disappointed. Such a rubbish ending and I was left feeling like I had wasted 6 hours of my time! I would love to know if you’ve watched it and what you thought?

Clickbait (Netflix) – another psychological thriller but this one with a decent ending. I wouldn’t have expected the twist, had me guessing throughout. Definitely worth a watch if it’s you thing!

Visiting Hours, Ed Sheeran – This is such a beautiful song. I think Ed gets better and better. Loving having this on repeat at the moment.

The last month Gracie has been talking about her 13th birthday. It’s not till next month but she has been preparing a list and talking about all the things she wants to do. How birthdays have changed! I don’t think I did anything for my 13th, but now I think children expect it! We are doing something simple but it’s what she wants so hopefully she will have a nice time! She is now on the countdown till November!

The weather has been a bit all over the place. One day it’s warm, next it’s chilly. I’ve had to get my coat out a few times this month as you just do not know what way the weather will go. There has been a few bright mornings, glorious in fact then by 3pm it’s dark, gloomy and raining.

I made these really cute crochet pumpkins. I wanted some just to put on my new mantle for the month of October and they were a huge hit on Instagram and Facebook. Loads of questions and some even asked for orders! It keeps my mind busy and helps my mental health, so more than happy to make more.

With Henry back to school the homework was soon sent out! Luckily it was fairly easy with baking involved. He decided to make some solar system cookies. His topic this term is space so was themed around that. I cheated slightly and bought the cookie dough pre made but he decorated each cookie in the style of the planets!

I have an appointment this month, it’s not till the end of October but I’m a little nervous! I’ve been a box dye user for years and it’s becoming more frequent thanks to the natural grey coming through. I have decided to have a hair consultation to see what colour I can go to, if it’s possible, ideally as close to grey as possible as it’s coming through thick and fast. I’ve not been to the hair dressers in years and it’s always something that I get worried about.

Hope you have a wonderful November!
