LIFESTYLE LITTLE LOVES

LITTLE LOVES 2022 | FEBRUARY

March 1, 2022

We are heading into month 3 of 2022! We seem to be speeding through the days and I just wish it would slow down! It’s been a busy month with lii on at going on. We enjoyed a wonderful week of for half term, which felt oddly strange as it’s not often I get to spend the holidays not working. This new term time job definitely has its perks!

Without too much waffling here are my little loves for February!

Watched

No Return (ITV) – all episodes of this is currently on ITV player but I’m watching them weekly. So far I’m really enjoying it. It’s based around an idyllic family holiday to Turkey which turns into a nightmare when 16 year old son is accused of a serious crime

Love is Blind (Netflix) – maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely a guilty pleasure. I tend to watch them whilst I’m cooking dinner. I always seem to get so invested.

Married at First Sight Australia (E4) – another program that isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but like the previous one it’s addictive TV and once you’ve watched one episode you feel like you need to continue!

Heard

I cannot not mention what’s happening between Russia and Ukraine. It’s heartbreaking and it’s all I hear at the moment. I’m getting lots of worries questions from both children and it’s so a scary time for everyone.

Wore

I’ve been making a conscious effort in painting my nails. I’m a terrible nail biter (yuk!) but I’ve managed to grow them to a nice length and by painting them it means I’m less likely to get the urge to bite them! I bought 2 new polishes this month one which resembles red wine and the other a really lovely pink ready to wear come spring!

Made

I’ve been making something lots of sweet treats on a Sunday for dessert. I made a really lovely white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake last week it went down so well! I’ll add a recipe up shortly!

I’ve been making a good impression at work. One thing that was in my list of things to do was to make the entrance to the school more appealing. I’ve started doing just that and already looks so much better! I’m hoping it leaves a good impression, not just on me but the school too!

Lastly

I am beginning to see small signs of spring! It’s one of my favourite seasons. Bulbs are appearing in the garden and the lighter mornings are always a welcome sight! We have seen some lovely blue skies this weekend as well, which definitely makes people smile!

The sunshine is so welcome isn’t it? Also the news is all we hear at present and the kids certainly are worried, as are we!
The world is one crazy but beautiful place, I only wish it could be peaceful. Couldn’t find the linky to link up?
