LIFESTYLE LITTLE LOVES

LITTLE LOVES 2022 | MARCH EDITION

April 3, 2022

What a month, this post would of been up last week but due to a bout of the C word virus it’s ended up a week late. Unfortunately we all ended up with the dreaded virus and although 2 out the 4 were mild the other two (James and I) were pretty bad and it was a very long 10 days in total. We had 3 confirmed cases but one unconfirmed but I’m 100% positive that the tests just didn’t pick it up. But who knows!

I am feeling so much better I’m just suffering with extreme fatigue and I’m ready to get into bed by 7pm most nights.

Without too much waffling here are my little loves for March!

Watched

Desperate Housewives (Disney+) – I finally finished the complete season and I Ben though I enjoyed it, it was a long slog to watch. I’m not sure I would have finished it if it wasn’t for isolation!

Bridgerton 2 (Netflix) – if you’ve not seen this yet where have you been hiding? I was a little worried as I’d seen reviews and they were not consistent with the first season. Saying that I really enjoyed it. I’m a massive prude so I was thankful of the less raunchy scenes!

Derry Girls (C4) – I can’t work out if I like this or not but I’m continuing with it. They are only 25 minutes long so an easy watch when your cooking or having a bath! Have you watched it? Would you recommend me sticking with it?

Heard

Other than the fact covid cases are on the rise.. again.. I’ve not really listened to much.

This past week I returned to work and I decided to have the radio playing in the office. Considering I’m the inky one in there I can get away with it. It breaks the silence up!

Wore

As I was hit with covid I’ve been in my pyjamas a lot. Most days I was in joggers and T-shirts but by 3pm I was back in my PJs ready for bed!

For Mother’s Day I was gifted some new shoes and a lovely ring from Pandora from Gracie and Henry. The shoes have not left my feet. The style are my go to shoe for spring / summer. So comfy and so easy to wear with anything.

Made

I’ve been continuing with making cheesecakes on a Sunday! This week I am attempting a Easter themed cheese cake. I’m winging the recipe and but and going rogue so homosexually it’s comes out ok! I’ll post up the method and recipe next week!

As I’m the only one in my office I decided to make it a little bit more “me” although keeping inline with the schools vision. I decorated the lobby last month and made it welcoming which I’m really pleased with. I’m slowly adding more things to the school office to make it less boring!

Lastly

We had some unexpected warm days whilst I had covid and I was a little miffed I couldn’t go out. It was nice to have the windows and doors open though. Just a few days later we saw snow! Talk about freak weather!

We are now in half term and it’s the second holiday I get off with the children. Feels oddly strange after so long of having to work them. I still can’t believe my luck with this job! I am going to even say that’s it one of my most favourite jobs I’ve ever had!

Oh my goodness your conservatory/ patio room looks so sunshine bright and lovely. How I’d love to sit and relax in there! I hope you are fully recovered from the ‘rona’ now !

Thank you! It’s so lovely in the summer months to sit and relax! Yes, all recovered just the tiredness seems to still be lingering! Hopefully that will pass soon!
