May 29, 2022

I’ve been so busy I completely forgot to post last months Little Loves! It’s been a strange few months. I’ve had so much on with work and mum life and then a few health problems thrown into the mix – which is still very much up in the air, time just did away with me!

It’s been a busy month. The lead up to half term is always busy at work and this is the first time since starting my new job that I’ve welcomed the half term with open arms.

Without too much waffling here are my little loves for May!

This is Us (Disney+) – well what can I say, it’s over. I’m gutted it’s over but what a bloody series. The last season actually broke me and I spent a good while getting over some of the episodes. I don’t think there will ever be another series like it.

Heartstopper (Netflix) – This was BEAUTIFUL! I watched it within 24 hours and it was so beautifully written and portrayed. Definitely watch it if you have not already!

Orange is The New Black (Netflix) – I’ve restarted this. I watched a fair few seasons years ago but then I just stopped so I decided to start from scratch. It’s something easy to have on in the background whilst cooking!

Top Gun: Maverick – last night I went out with my sister and watched the new Top Gun film. It was something we had both been looking forward to for years! It was good, very similar to the first just different characters. The original is still very much my favourite!

Spaceman – I’ve had this on repeat. It’s such a good song and very worthy of 2nd place at the Eurovision!

As it Was – Harry has released a belter of a summer song! I think this will no doubt be played throughout the summer of 2022!

Spotty shoes.. this style show is my go-to throughly the spring / summer months. They are so comfy and go with anything. I have quite the collection now!

We had a cake baking competition for the jubilee celebrations at school. Henry made one for his class entry and I made one for the staff category. Both were lovely! Henry’s won first place and I got lots of compliments about how good mine tasted!

The month of May saw my beautiful wisteria bloom. I look forward to seeing this come to life every year. It smells so lovely when you catch a whiff in the breeze. My Clematis intertwines with it and for the few months of the year they are in bloom it makes my garden look rather lovely!

It’s half term – thankfully! We have. Few things planned over the next week. I am really hoping the weather is kind to us and we get to enjoy being outside.

Have a wonderful month ahead! Going forward I will posting the last day of the month!
